TowneBank Mortgage Family Members Achieve Industry Leadership Roles

Colby Raymond, Mortgage Sales Support Manager at TowneBank Mortgage, was recently sworn in as President of the Coastal Virginia Building Industry Association. This prestigious role recognizes her contributions to the local building industry and her commitment to fostering growth and innovation.

Sarah Stedfast, Venture President at RW Towne Mortgage, was recently sworn in as President of the Virginia Mortgage Bankers Association (VMBA) at their annual convention. Additionally, she was honored with the Bill Axselle Lifetime Achievement Award, a testament to her dedication and expertise. To further her impact, Stedfast was also elected as the Chair of the Board of Commissioners for Virginia Housing.

Bill West, Sales Manager for TowneBank Mortgage, has also made notable achievements. West, current Virginia Mortgage Political Action Committee (VAMPAC) Chair for the VMBA, was sworn in as President-Elect at the organization’s convention in October. The VMBA also presented him with the President’s Award, recognizing his outstanding contributions to the association.

Nate Smith, Venture President for Towne First Mortgage, currently serves as a board member for the Virginia Mortgage Bankers Association after previously serving as President of the organization in 2021.
